The vet Andy was beyond unprofessional throughout the entire experience, her attitude was uncalled for and the way she handled the situation was disgusting.
fico muito feliz com o super tratamento que vocês deram ao meu gato, Deus abençoe voçes eternamente
We had an emergency with one of my babies while camping& were in a rush to find the nearest vet. I called ahead of time to ask if they would still be there cause we were an hour out, the Vet Tech was extremely nice& helpful on the phone she asked a couple of questions about the situation. I explained a little & she said they would still be there so we booked it.. by the time we got there he could barely walk & I was holding him up to keep him from tipping over. The Vet, Andrea "andy" was Beyond Unprofessional & instantly discriminated My husband& I the second we walked in, asking not the appropriate questions for the situation& not listening to what her Vet tecs were already asking us. We had to reanswer the same questions multiple times on almost every question her techs had already asked& Andy had to reasked almost 2 more times for each question literally seconds after we had just answered to her techs in the same room. Simple things like if he was neutered, Not his current emergency situation. When I walked in to fill a water bucket for our other dog the vet techs didnt hesitate& instantly directed me to a place to fill it up but the second Andy saw it she snapped at me "What is that?!" I was confused& said "a bucket?" She snapped at me again& said "For what?!" & I just said "water for my other dog??" She continued asking questions about if we let them ride in the back of the truck& then would make comments like, " we'll that's probably why this happened" accusing us like we had him sit back there in the heat for hours, even though that was NOT what happened or the reason he was having medical issues. She got so nasty with the questions/comments that I finally told her to focus on him,& she snapped back "I am" so I commented back "No you're asking about the bucket?" & she went silent. There were 6+ dogs running loose around the office coming in and out of the examine room. He Does Not like other dogs & it made him even more anxious being in that condition & having loose dogs invade his boundaries. She took her time getting the xrays, talking to other local patients, when she finally did get them, she came back& again took her time explaining she couldn't see clearly what was going on but she thinks his spleen was wrapped around his lower intestines, then stood there waiting for us to ask questions. After a pause my husband asked if he needed surgery& She replied in the most Exasperated snobby way "Well Yea!" & then went back to saying nothing & giving us nasty looks. So Again My Husband Had To Ask "Is that something you can do??" Her nasty ego grew at that& then she asked "is that something you guys Would do?" Long story short after more unnecessary somments from the Vet, my husband signed all the papers to get him back. I was already emotional seeing him decline so fast but at this point also livid. From the Moment we walked in that office she was more concerned about making us feel like crap about the situation& his condition, instead of Helping My Baby! We literally felt like we were begging her for answers and to save his life while she made us feel like she was testing us to see if we really cared about our dog. I did Not feel safe leaving him there but he would not have made it the 2½ hour drive to Idaho Falls. When he got out of surgery(It wasn't our fault like she went out of her way to make us feel) &they had to keep him over the weekend. Her attitude was completely different when we picked him up but not once did she apologize for her disgusting behavior from the other day, she acted "sweet" & said she was going to give him a free shot but never did before we left, she was just trying to butter us up. I am so greatful my baby made it but I Will Never thank her just to boost her disgusting Ego, She might be good at her job but her attitude about the whole situation& toward us was Unacceptable and Pathetic coming from an "adult". Instead of focusing on my baby she made sure she Jumped to every Conclusion she could think of &made us feel like shit for him having a medical emergency Before she helped him
Dog swallowed bits and pieces of a chew. Lucky they were small enough to pass naturally. Lucky to avoid surgery.
