Dr. Ward is an amazing veterinarian and I found the clinic to be clean, well run and offering a great service to the community. Clinic prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this hospital if you have a pet in need of urgent care!

The staff was incredibly polite, compassionate, and kind during our emergency visit. The vet took the time to clearly explain our options, and the bill was surprisingly affordable compared to typical CdA urgent care pricing. I highly recommend this clinic if you ever have an unexpected pet emergency!

Family Pet Urgent Care is a great resource for our local community. Easy to access, it's located off Hwy 2 near the Country Co-Op. The clinic is clean ... actually, it's spotless. The staff are organized, helpful, and caring both over the phone and in person. The veterinarian, Dr. Michelle Ward, is experienced. My impression is that her training and real-life medical experience are extensive and well-rounded. The vet and staff were fully attentive to my black lab, Kodi, and me, even while handling other urgent cases at various stages. This clinic has a mindful process that makes each patient feel equally important while still managing the demands of an emergency care environment. I was given a quote before proceeding with care after Kodi's initial assessment, with no cost surprises. Lilly and Marlo, the staff up front were truly caring, calm, and professional. This can be a difficult balance to maintain in urgent care, but this seems to come naturally for this team. The nurse/ vet tech who did the intake process on Friday night, May 15th 2026, was amazing as well. Also, this clinic provided the visit's record to my regular vet by the next business day. My regular vet followed up with me after receiving that info. I honestly was not expecting this level of care and attention in follow-up, and it's super appreciated. Kodi is doing very well now and I'm grateful I didn't have to wait until the following week to see my regular vet. Dr. Ward's take-home instructions and supplies for Kodi's wound-healing were thorough and effective. The front staff went over them in detail as well.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a Google review. I definitely wanted to take the time to come here to leave this vet a 5 star review. They literally saved my cat’s life after being attacked by a dog. They were so professional, kind, swift, persistent and patient. Their care is above and beyond anything I’ve experienced in this area. They genuinely care about their pet patients! We are beyond grateful to have our beloved Huxley with us still today, thanks to their professional efforts, knowledge and experience. Thank you all so much!!! Erin & Huxley ❤️❤️❤️
